Male character rough designs

Iv designed a few rough male characters and I have chosen which one Im really happy with and like and I am currently working on the model sheet for the character.

Again with this character I also want it to be less 'cartoony' because it just doesn't look right to me and I don't feel happy with that style, so sticking to the style I wanted to do to begin with. Also keeping in mind that its based around sometime in the 50's so I had to research the fashion and style of the clothes the men wore around that time and I loved the idea of the braces, shirt and tie, your typical sort of 50's business man.
